Events by Mona Lisa is a boutique event planning company that specializes in weddings, events and celebrations – you dream it, we plan it! Our people/purpose centered approach derives from a genuine interest in getting to know who you are as a person, coupled with a desire to bring your vision to life. Our commitment to see events through from conceptualization to completion and determination to leave no stone unturned be it music, food, décor or service makes us a trusted choice above the rest. Going above and beyond, exceeding your wildest expectations is the standard and not an option. Planning events is just as much the journey as it is the destination; so let’s enjoy the ride together!
WHO I AM
I’m infamously known for being a “Jill of all trades”: your biggest cheerleader, the calm in the midst of a storm, a negotiator, therapist, confidante and my favorite role of all….friend! Born and raised in Westchester, NY, I moved to Manhattan to pursue a degree in Psychology at Pace University and immediately became immersed in the food & beverage service industry while working in college. What I deemed was simply a “season” in my life developed into a passion, talent and knack for all things entertaining and events. But what about my dream of being a Psychologist….the female Sigmund Freud? The famous quote is true…"tell God your plans and He’ll laugh at them!” Twelve years later with an extensive career that includes planning events for radio, television, Broadway and the music industry alike, serving as the Director of Special Events & Assistant General Manager of a notable New York City restaurant and most recently as a wedding & special events planner for a Brooklyn-based catering company, I launched “EbML”. When I’m not making dreams come true, I volunteer with and fundraise for various non-profit organizations that uplift and empower girls and women.
